About the Chef
Chef Trenay Parker, M.B.A. chef, poet, small business coach, newsletter editor and owner of EatGood Distributors is a super single mom with three beautiful children. Her passion for personal development emerged during her own challenging journey of single parenthood. She has two boys and one girl that have inspired her to be a visionary, goal setter and all around better person for them and people that know and respect her. She put herself through college, worked full time and raised three children while dreaming of becoming a home owner, college graduate, college professor and business owner. 
Chef Trenay started EatGood Distributors in the spring of 2007, with a vision of creating New Jersey's first minority owned triplex food distribution company. She was trained at The Restaurant School of Walnut Hill College Philadelphia, Pa., Gwynedd Mercy University, Fort Washington Pa, and received her M.B.A. in Project Management at American InterContinental University Hoffman Estates, IL.
Chef Trenay infuses every dishes she creates with eye appeal, extensive food safety knowledge and passion for perfection. Trenay started her career as a cook for Mercy Hospital of Philadelphia. From there numerous of opportunities came her way and her career soared.
Presently, she is an Adjunct Professor for Wilmington University teaching 2 Culinary courses. International Food, Arts and Customs Course & Food and Culture. She also works for a Food Management Company in South Jersey. Her experience and relationships plays a key role as she builds EGD into a food distribution empire.
Chef Trenay is also a certified ServSafe Instructor and Registered Proctor. She received her instructor certification from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation in 2000. Since then she has been teaching safe food handling and sanitation to hundreds of chefs, cooks and food service professionals throughout New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
Her teaching style is fun yet full of information that her customers are able to retain what they've learned and pass a 90 question multiple choice examination.
